Add ESPP purchase lots and review a planned sale

ESPP holdings are entered as purchase lots. Retain the original purchase and offering details because they help determine the lot's modeled treatment.

Add a purchase lot

  1. Open the client → Equity.

  2. Use Add ESPP Lot or Add Lot in ESPP Analysis where available.

  3. Select the company and plan type.

  4. Enter offering start and purchase dates, shares purchased, purchase price per share, and the FMV inputs requested by the form.

  5. Review the discount and any additional basis or reported-income fields against the source records.

  6. Save and reconcile the resulting lot.
