The client portal provides client-facing views of selected information. Workspace admins manage portal access.
Invite the client
Open the client → Profile.
Find the Client Portal card.
Select Invite to portal.
Confirm the client's email address.
Choose the sections to enable: the dialog offers Holdings, Cash flow, Concentration, Upcoming events, Trading plan, Notifications, and Scenario modeling.
Review the choices, then select Send invite when ready to email the client.
The invitation uses a magic-link email. Confirm the recipient before sending. Portal-section availability is controlled separately from advisor workspace membership.
Preview the experience
Use Preview portal from the client profile or client header. Review the content and enabled sections before asking the client to use the portal.
Share a trading plan
In Plans → Build → Plan Library, use the plan's Send to client portal control. A shared plan shows a stop-sharing control. Sharing a plan and designating the primary plan are separate actions.
Review any compatibility notice shown by the share control. The current plan-sharing UI warns that client-portal reports do not yet support planned ESPP sales. For those cases, review an appropriate advisor report before choosing what to share.
If the client cannot get in
Confirm the email address and portal status, ask the client to check spam, and review access with the workspace admin. Use Chat with us if the invitation or access problem persists. Never ask the client to share a password or one-time sign-in code.
